Yuzu Green Garden Glass
Yuzu, Cucumber & Mint Green Tea. A different way to make the moment yours.

Yuzu brings a fragrant, tart citrus note to green tea, while cucumber and mint give the finish a cool, green character. Brew the tea gently so it doesn't turn bitter, then chill it before adding the juice. A little yuzu goes further than the same amount of orange juice, so start with the measured quantity. This is a light, aromatic cooler for someone who likes sharper flavors and doesn't want a sweet mocktail. The green tea does contain caffeine.
Ingredients
- 1 tea bag Green tea
- 6 oz Water
- 1/4 oz Plain yuzu juice
- 4 slice Cucumber, thinly sliced
- 4 leaf Mint leaves
Make it
- Brew the tea in the measured water, using the temperature and steeping time on its packet. Remove the tea bag.
- Cool the tea in a heatproof container, then chill for about 30 minutes.
- Mash any soft fruit in a separate glass. Lightly bruise herbs or ginger; add these and the listed juices or spices to the cooled tea.
- Stir well and taste. Remove ginger or herb sprigs when their flavor suits you. Strain if you prefer a smoother drink, then serve chilled.

Using yuzu with green tea, cucumber, and mint brings vitamin C for absorbing iron from plant foods, along with a fragrant, sharply citrusy finish.
Cucumber, green tea, and yuzu
The cucumber contributes a crisp green flavor to green tea, yuzu, and mint, giving you a specific flavor combination to reach for instead of a default pour.
