Health & Responsibility Notice

Meaningful change starts with understanding yourself—and taking care of yourself.

Cheers Without Beers (CWOB) helps you explore your relationship with alcohol, recognize patterns and build habits that support the life you want. You don’t need a label or a crisis to begin. You do deserve clear information about what CWOB can offer and when professional care is needed.

What CWOB provides

CWOB offers educational content, self-reflection tools and behavioral support. This includes our assessments, Full Behavioral Profile, Resets, Membership and AI Behavioral Coach.

These resources are not medical care, psychotherapy, addiction treatment or medically supervised detoxification. Using CWOB does not establish a relationship with a licensed healthcare professional.

Your results are a starting point

Assessment scores, zones, archetypes and personalized suggestions help you reflect on the answers you provide. They are not clinical diagnoses or a complete evaluation of your health.

A low score or Green zone does not mean your drinking is risk-free or that stopping is medically safe. CWOB cannot determine whether you have physical dependence, need treatment or require medical supervision.

Before reducing or stopping alcohol

For someone who is physically dependent on alcohol, suddenly stopping or significantly reducing drinking can cause dangerous, potentially life-threatening withdrawal.

Speak with a qualified healthcare professional before making a major change if you drink heavily or regularly, have experienced withdrawal before, need alcohol to feel steady, or are unsure whether stopping is safe.

Shaking, sweating, nausea, a racing heart or anxiety after reducing alcohol may be signs of withdrawal. Seek prompt medical care rather than trying to manage suspected withdrawal through a CWOB Reset. CWOB does not provide detoxification or instructions for tapering alcohol.

When to seek emergency help

Call 911 or your local emergency number for seizures, severe confusion, hallucinations, trouble breathing or an inability to wake someone. These may signal severe withdrawal, alcohol overdose or another medical emergency. Do not wait for a response from CWOB.

If you are at immediate risk of harming yourself or someone else, contact emergency services.

The limits of AI support

The AI Behavioral Coach can support reflection, planning and everyday habit changes. It is not a clinician or crisis service.

AI responses may be inaccurate, incomplete or inappropriate for your circumstances. Do not use them to diagnose symptoms, make medication decisions or determine whether withdrawal is safe. Do not assume an AI conversation will alert a person or bring emergency assistance.

Your health comes first

Discuss questions about alcohol, medications, pregnancy, physical symptoms or mental health with a qualified healthcare professional. Do not delay care or change prescribed treatment because of information you receive through CWOB.

You can use CWOB alongside professional care. If a suggestion conflicts with your clinician’s guidance, follow your clinician’s advice.

Progress and benefits vary

CWOB encourages curiosity, practice and meaningful change. We cannot promise a particular outcome or a timeline for improvements in sleep, energy, mood or health.

Examples and benefit timelines are educational, not predictions about your body. Persistent or worsening symptoms deserve medical attention.

You don’t have to prove that things are bad enough to ask for help. Getting the right support is part of taking care of yourself.
