Watermelon Porch Light
Watermelon Lime Cooler. A simple recipe for a moment that feels like yours.

Watermelon makes a delicate sparkling drink, and lime gives that softness a tart edge. It’s lighter than a watermelon juice cooler, with enough texture to feel like fresh fruit rather than flavored soda. Press the melon to release its juice, then add lime to taste before the bubbles. Ripe, sweet watermelon needs less help. The finished glass should leave you noticing the melon as well as the citrus.
Ingredients
- 5 oz Sparkling water
- 1/2 cup Watermelon cubes
- 1/2 oz Lime juice
Make it
- Add any fruit, herbs, spices, or syrup to a glass and gently press to release flavor.
- Add the still liquids and ice. Stir to combine.
- Pour in the sparkling ingredient slowly and stir once. Serve immediately.
Benefits
Lime · a little vitamin C
Lime supplies some vitamin C for protecting cells from oxidative damage; pairing it with watermelon adds another layer to the flavor.
Make room for watermelon
Watermelon gives the lime a light, juicy sweetness—an aromatic pairing to serve freshly mixed, while the bubbles are lively.
