Watermelon Pepper Party Porch
Watermelon, Ginger & Jalapeño Cooler. A different way to make the moment yours.

Watermelon makes the first sip gentle and juicy, then ginger and jalapeño bring two different kinds of heat. Lime keeps the fruit flavor defined. Start with a very small pepper slice and remove it once the warmth suits you; the ginger will continue to add its own character. Mash and strain the melon for a cleaner drink. This is a lively party cooler with a soft fruit base, rather than a spicy cocktail that overwhelms everything else in the glass.
Ingredients
- 5 oz Sparkling water
- 1/2 cup Seedless watermelon cubes
- 2 slice Fresh ginger, thinly sliced
- 1 thin slice Jalapeño, deseeded
- 1/4 oz Lime juice
Make it
- Prepare the fruit and herbs as listed. Mash soft fruit to release juice; lightly press herbs or thin ginger slices without shredding them.
- Add the still juices and stir. Strain out seeds, skins or herb pieces if you prefer a smoother texture.
- Pour in the chilled sparkling water slowly and stir once. Serve immediately, with ice if you like.
Benefits
Lime · a little vitamin C
Lime contributes a little vitamin C for collagen formation for healthy skin; watermelon brings a light, juicy sweetness in this recipe.
Ginger with a little lift
The ginger brings a peppery warmth, alongside watermelon, peppery spice, and lime; the chilled carbonated mixer adds a crisp texture to that pairing.
