Walnut Maple Evening Pages
Walnut, Maple & Cinnamon Oat Milk. A different way to make the moment yours.

Walnut adds a slightly earthy, toasted flavor that makes maple and cinnamon feel less sweet and more rounded. The nuts need thorough blending before the milk is warmed; a fine sieve is useful if you prefer no texture at all. Keep the maple modest so the walnut remains noticeable. This has the flavor of a simple, nutty breakfast bowl translated into a small evening cup. It's warm and familiar, with a gently dry finish rather than a sugary one.
Ingredients
- 8 oz Unsweetened oat milk
- 1 tbsp Shelled walnuts
- 1/2 tsp Maple syrup (optional)
- 1/16 tsp Ground cinnamon
Make it
- Prepare the ingredients as listed. Any grain, root vegetable or chestnut listed as cooked must already be fully cooked and cooled.
- Blend the cold oat milk with any fruit, nuts, seeds, nut paste or cooked ingredients until completely smooth. Whisk powders with a spoonful of milk first if needed.
- Pour into a small saucepan and add the remaining ingredients. Warm gently for 3–4 minutes while whisking; do not boil. Remove any whole peel or ginger slices before serving.
- Thin with a splash of water if needed and sip once comfortably warm.
