Vanilla Lemon Lull
Lemon Vanilla Chamomile. A simple recipe for your evening wind-down.

Lemon gives chamomile a bright edge, and vanilla softens the aroma without taking away that tartness. It’s a delicate balance because both additions can quickly become more noticeable than the tea. Brew the chamomile first, then add the lemon and a small measure of vanilla. There’s no milk to make this creamy. Expect a light, floral cup with citrus and a familiar vanilla scent, rather than a warm dessert drink.
Ingredients
- 6 oz Hot water
- 1 tea bag Chamomile tea
- 1/2 oz Lemon juice
- 1/8 tsp Alcohol-free vanilla flavoring
Make it
- Add the tea or fruit and spices to a heatproof mug or small saucepan.
- Pour in the hot water. Steep tea for the time on its packet, or gently simmer fruit for 3–5 minutes.
- Remove tea bags. Strain if you prefer, add any optional sweetener, and sip while comfortably warm.
