Toasted Pecan Banana Nightstand
A warm banana milk with freshly toasted pecans.

Toasted pecans give banana milk a nuttier aroma and help it feel less like a breakfast smoothie. A quarter of a ripe banana is enough to add body without making the cup heavy. Let the nuts cool before blending them with cold milk, then warm the mixture gently. The cinnamon is only a small accent. This is a soft, creamy drink with a roasted finish, particularly appealing when a plain warm milk sounds a little too predictable.
Ingredients
- 8 oz Unsweetened oat milk
- 1 tbsp Unsalted pecans, chopped
- 1/4 fruit Ripe banana
- 1 tiny pinch Ground cinnamon
Make it
- Toast the pecans in a dry pan over medium-low heat for 2–3 minutes, stirring. Let cool.
- Blend the pecans, banana, cinnamon and cold milk thoroughly.

Benefits
Pecans with a useful milk choice
For this pecans cup, picking calcium-fortified oat milk gives the creamy base an extra role: contributing to your calcium intake.
A warmer side of pecans
The oat milk, banana, and cinnamon carries a rich, toasted-nut flavor from pecans, giving you a fragrant warm drink to enjoy in place of an alcoholic nightcap.
