Toasted Coconut Millet Moonlight
A cooked millet and coconut milk cup with nutmeg.

Millet contributes a quiet toasted-grain flavor to coconut milk without needing to remain in the finished cup. Cook it until completely soft before straining; rushing leaves the liquid thin and the grains underdone. The coconut flakes add a little texture on top, while nutmeg gives a warm aroma. This is a slower drink with a creamy finish, especially suitable when you want to try something beyond the usual almond or oat milk combinations in the evening.
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Dry millet
- 6 oz Water
- 4 oz Unsweetened carton coconut milk

- Strain into a cup and top with coconut flakes and a tiny pinch of nutmeg. Serve promptly.

Millet and coconut milk · refreshing fluids
There’s 6 oz of water behind the millet, coconut milk, and coconut flakes in this recipe: everyday hydration with a mild, nutty grain flavor, rather than another plain glass.

Warm nutmeg with millet, coconut milk, and coconut flakes and you get a warm, woody fragrance in a cup made for small, comfortably warm sips.
