The Savory Sundowner
Spiced Tomato Mary. A simple recipe for a moment that feels like yours.

Tomato gives this a full, savory base, with lime adding acidity and hot sauce bringing a little heat. Celery salt supplies both seasoning and a faint herbal note, so treat it as more than a garnish. Stir everything thoroughly and taste before increasing the spice. It’s closer to a carefully seasoned tomato drink than a fruit mocktail, and it rewards the same restraint you’d use when seasoning something you plan to eat.

Benefits
Tomato · a little vitamin C
Beside peppery spice and lime, tomato offers a little vitamin C, used by your body for normal immune function, as well as a savory, juicy base.
A different side of lime
There is a lively citrus tang from the measured lime in the tomato and peppery spice mixture, giving that ingredient a place without drowning out the other flavors.
