Tamarind Orange After Six

0.0% Rum, Tamarind & Orange Cooler. A different way to make the moment yours.

Tamarind Orange After Six

Tamarind gives orange juice a darker, more rounded sourness, while ginger adds a warm finish. A rum alternative provides the aromatic background, especially if it has vanilla or spice notes. Dissolve the concentrate in the juice before adding anything fizzy so it mixes evenly. The orange keeps the combination approachable, but tamarind remains the more unusual part. This is a good choice when you want something tart and layered that doesn't rely on lemon, lime, or a sugary mixer.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz 0.0% non-alcoholic rum alternative
  • 4 oz Sparkling water
  • 1/2 tsp Unsweetened tamarind concentrate
  • 2 oz Orange juice
  • 2 slice Fresh ginger, thinly sliced

Make it

  1. Prepare the fruit and herbs as listed. Lightly press soft fruit and herbs in a glass without shredding the leaves.
  2. Add the non-alcoholic alternative and any still juices or flavorings. Stir together and strain if you prefer a smoother texture.
  3. Add ice if desired, then pour in the chilled carbonated mixer. Stir gently once and serve.

Benefits

Orange ยท a little vitamin C

You get a small vitamin C contribution from orange in the 0.0% rum, tamarind, and ginger mixture, supporting normal immune function alongside a familiar sweet-tart citrus flavor.

A sparkling setting for ginger

Pairing ginger with 0.0% rum, tamarind, and orange puts a peppery warmth into a fizzy glass, with bubbles making the texture part of the pleasure.
