Tamarind Cucumber Fresh Round
Tamarind, Cucumber & Mint Cooler. A different way to make the moment yours.

Tamarind gives cucumber and mint a deeper, fruitier sourness than lime would. The cucumber keeps the drink feeling light, while mint adds a cool aroma. Dissolve the concentrate completely in a little of the still liquid before adding the sparkling water. Different concentrates vary in strength, so begin cautiously if yours is especially sharp. This is a refreshing savory-leaning cooler with an unusual finish, particularly good when you want something tart without another obvious citrus flavor.
Ingredients
- 5 oz Sparkling water
- 1/2 tsp Unsweetened tamarind concentrate
- 4 slice Cucumber, thinly sliced
- 4 leaf Mint leaves
Make it
- Prepare the fruit and herbs as listed. Mash soft fruit to release juice; lightly press herbs or thin ginger slices without shredding them.
- Add the still juices and stir. Strain out seeds, skins or herb pieces if you prefer a smoother texture.
- Pour in the chilled sparkling water slowly and stir once. Serve immediately, with ice if you like.
