Sweet Potato Vanilla Blanket
Sweet Potato & Vanilla Oat Milk. A different way to make the moment yours.

Sweet potato makes the milk smooth and gently sweet, while vanilla gives it a familiar, comforting aroma. Cinnamon is a small accent rather than the main flavor. Use fully cooked, cooled potato and blend until no little pieces remain before warming it. Add a splash of water if the texture becomes too thick. This is a fuller evening cup that feels closer to a thin blended pudding than a tea, with a mellow flavor that doesn't need a spoonful of sugar.
Ingredients
- 8 oz Unsweetened oat milk
- 2 tbsp Cooked, cooled sweet potato flesh
- 1/8 tsp Alcohol-free vanilla flavoring
- 1/16 tsp Ground cinnamon
Make it
- Prepare the ingredients as listed. Any grain, root vegetable or chestnut listed as cooked must already be fully cooked and cooled.
- Blend the cold oat milk with any fruit, nuts, seeds, nut paste or cooked ingredients until completely smooth. Whisk powders with a spoonful of milk first if needed.
- Pour into a small saucepan and add the remaining ingredients. Warm gently for 3–4 minutes while whisking; do not boil. Remove any whole peel or ginger slices before serving.
- Thin with a splash of water if needed and sip once comfortably warm.
Benefits
