Strawberry Sunbeam
Strawberry Lemonade. A simple recipe for the start of your day.

Strawberries make the water softly fruity, and lemon gives it a more defined tart edge. It’s lighter than strawberry lemonade, with ripe fruit doing most of the work on sweetness. Slice or lightly press the berries so their juice can reach the water. If the first taste seems faint, allow a little more time before adding extra lemon; more sourness won’t necessarily create more strawberry flavor.
Ingredients
- 6 oz Cold water
- 1/4 cup Strawberries
- 1/2 oz Lemon juice
Make it
- Add the fruit and herbs to a glass. Gently press soft fruit or herbs to release their flavor.
- Stir in the juice, any optional salt or sweetener, and the water. If using sparkling water, add it last and stir once.
- Add ice if you like. Let infused water stand for 5 minutes for a fuller flavor.
