Strawberry Slippers
Warm Strawberry Vanilla Milk. A simple recipe for your evening wind-down.

Strawberries and vanilla give oat milk a familiar, softly sweet fruit character. The berries add some acidity, so use gentle warmth and mix them in gradually rather than boiling everything together. A little separation can happen with plant milk and fruit. Make it fresh and stir before sipping. Ripe strawberries give the best flavor; vanilla should make them feel rounder, not cover up the fact that a pale berry had very little taste to begin with.
Ingredients
- 8 oz Unsweetened oat milk
- 1/4 cup Strawberries
- 1/8 tsp Alcohol-free vanilla flavoring
Make it
- Warm the milk gently in a small saucepan; do not boil.
- Add the spices, flavoring, and any fruit. Whisk powders well. If using tea, steep for the packet’s recommended time and remove the bag.
- Simmer gently for 2 minutes. Strain whole spices or fruit if you like, then pour into a mug.
Benefits
Strawberry with a useful milk choice
Choose fortified oat milk and the strawberry in this cup comes with a little calcium too, contributing to normal muscle function as well as bones and teeth.
