Strawberry Sesame Sunrise
A blended drink with strawberry, tahini, banana.

Tahini changes a strawberry smoothie in a good way: the fruit stays bright, but there's a nutty, slightly savory depth underneath it. Stir the tahini jar first so you aren't measuring only separated oil. A small amount is enough, especially if yours has a pronounced bitterness. Banana provides body and sweetness, so use a ripe one. This is a creamy breakfast blend with a sesame finish, rather than the flavor of a strawberry milkshake.
Ingredients
- 6 oz Unsweetened oat milk
- 1/2 cup Strawberries, hulled
- 1 tsp Tahini, stirred
- 1/2 fruit Ripe banana
Make it
- Prepare all fruit as listed. Use cooked, cooled ingredients where specified; remove every stone, core or hard stem.
- Add the milk and all remaining ingredients to a blender. Blend for 45–60 seconds, scraping down as needed, until smooth.
- Add a small splash of milk if needed to make it pourable. Serve immediately.
Benefits
Strawberry · keep the fiber
Strawberry supplies some fiber for keeping digestion moving regularly; pairing it with oat milk, tahini, and banana adds another layer to the flavor.
Let banana change the texture
In the oat milk, strawberry, and tahini blend, the measured banana adds a smooth texture and mellow sweetness without an ice-cream base.
