Strawberry Rosemary Rise
Strawberry Rosemary Sparkler. A simple recipe for the start of your day.

Strawberries and rosemary have different kinds of fragrance, and that’s what makes this worth trying. Sweet, ripe berries sit against a woodier herb note, with bubbles keeping the drink light. Press the strawberries enough to release juice, but give the rosemary a lighter touch. Too much can make the glass taste resinous. A short rest lets you judge the herb before it becomes the only thing you notice.
Ingredients
- 6 oz Sparkling water
- 1/4 cup Strawberries
- 1 sprig Rosemary
Make it
- Add the fruit and herbs to a glass. Gently press soft fruit or herbs to release their flavor.
- Stir in the juice, any optional salt or sweetener, and the water. If using sparkling water, add it last and stir once.
- Add ice if you like. Let infused water stand for 5 minutes for a fuller flavor.
Benefits
Strawberry · a little vitamin C
The 1/4 cup of strawberries adds some vitamin C for absorbing iron from plant foods, with rosemary rounding out the flavor.
Rosemary · more than a sweet mixer
With strawberry in the glass, the measured rosemary contributes a piney herbal note as an accent to the fizz.
