Strawberry Rose Nightlight

Strawberry Rose Oat Milk. A simple recipe for your evening wind-down.

Strawberry Rose Nightlight

Strawberry and rose water make a fragrant fruit-and-flower pairing in oat milk. The berries should taste like themselves, with rose adding only a small floral detail. Use food-grade rose water and measure carefully. Warm gently and add the fruit gradually, since its acidity can make plant milk separate. Stir before drinking and enjoy it fresh. Too much rose can hide the strawberry quickly, so taste after the first small addition rather than judging by scent alone.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz Unsweetened oat milk
  • 1/4 cup Strawberries
  • 1/8 tsp Food-grade rose water

Make it

  1. Warm the milk gently in a small saucepan; do not boil.
  2. Add the spices, flavoring, and any fruit. Whisk powders well. If using tea, steep for the packet’s recommended time and remove the bag.
  3. Simmer gently for 2 minutes. Strain whole spices or fruit if you like, then pour into a mug.

Benefits

Strawberry with a useful milk choice

For this strawberry cup, picking calcium-fortified oat milk gives the creamy base an extra role: contributing to your calcium intake.

A warmer side of strawberry

The oat milk and rose water carries a sweet-tart berry flavor from strawberry, giving you a fragrant warm drink to enjoy in place of an alcoholic nightcap.
