Rose Vanilla Window Seat
Rose Vanilla Oat Milk. A simple recipe for your evening wind-down.

Rose water and vanilla give oat milk two distinct aromas: floral and familiar. Both are concentrated, so a small amount of each is enough to change the whole cup. Use food-grade rose water, warm the milk gently, and taste before adding another drop. The milk should still feel like the center of the drink. A restrained rose scent beside vanilla is more inviting than a cup that tastes like its fragrance arrived before everything else.
Ingredients
- 8 oz Unsweetened oat milk
- 1/8 tsp Food-grade rose water
- 1/8 tsp Alcohol-free vanilla flavoring
Make it
- Warm the milk gently in a small saucepan; do not boil.
- Add the spices, flavoring, and any fruit. Whisk powders well. If using tea, steep for the packet’s recommended time and remove the bag.
- Simmer gently for 2 minutes. Strain whole spices or fruit if you like, then pour into a mug.
