Raspberry Rosemary Table Spark

Raspberry, Rosemary & White Balsamic Soda. A different way to make the moment yours.

Raspberry Rosemary Table Spark

White balsamic vinegar gives raspberries a sweeter, rounder acidity than lemon juice, while rosemary adds a woodsy aroma. The result is tart without being quite as sharp as a raspberry lemonade. Mash the berries first and strain them if you want to avoid seeds. A small rosemary sprig is sufficient; remove it once its flavor becomes noticeable. This is a useful dinner spritz for someone who likes a fruit-forward drink with a little savory character at the end.

Ingredients

  • 5 oz Sparkling water
  • 1/4 cup Raspberries
  • 1/2 small sprig Fresh rosemary
  • 1 tsp White balsamic vinegar

Make it

  1. Prepare the fruit and herbs as listed. Mash soft fruit to release juice; lightly press herbs or thin ginger slices without shredding them.
  2. Add the still juices and stir. Strain out seeds, skins or herb pieces if you prefer a smoother texture.
  3. Pour in the chilled sparkling water slowly and stir once. Serve immediately, with ice if you like.

Benefits

Raspberry and rosemary · refreshing fluids

Using raspberry, rosemary, and balsamic turns the measured water into a drink with a bright raspberry tang. That water still counts toward your fluid intake.

Make room for rosemary

Rosemary gives the raspberry and balsamic a piney herbal note—an aromatic pairing to serve freshly mixed, while the bubbles are lively.
