Raspberry Red Letter

Raspberry Lemon Rickey. A simple recipe for a moment that feels like yours.

Raspberry Red Letter

Raspberry and lemon make a bright, tart combination that doesn’t need a complicated supporting cast. The berries add a little sweetness, but this won’t taste like a sugary raspberry lemonade unless your fruit is very sweet. Press the raspberries and decide whether you mind seeds before topping with bubbles. A quick strain gives a smoother drink; leaving them in makes it feel more like fruit you prepared yourself.

Ingredients

  • 5 oz Sparkling water
  • 1/4 cup Raspberries
  • 1/2 oz Lemon juice

Make it

  1. Add any fruit, herbs, spices, or syrup to a glass and gently press to release flavor.
  2. Add the still liquids and ice. Stir to combine.
  3. Pour in the sparkling ingredient slowly and stir once. Serve immediately.

Benefits

Lemon · a little vitamin C

With lemon beside raspberry, this glass offers a little vitamin C for protecting cells from oxidative damage.

Make room for raspberry

Raspberry gives the lemon a bright raspberry tang—an aromatic pairing to serve freshly mixed, while the bubbles are lively.
