Raspberry Pear Reading Hour

Warm Raspberry Pear Cup. A simple recipe for your evening wind-down.

Raspberry Pear Reading Hour

Raspberry and pear make a gentle warm infusion, with bright berry tartness beside softer fruit sweetness. The raspberry releases color quickly, while pear needs ripe fruit, thin slices, and a little time. Press a few berries and let both fruits mingle in the hot water. You can strain the seeds if they interrupt the kind of cup you want. The appealing balance lets the pear show through rather than leaving raspberry to do all the work.

Ingredients

  • 6 oz Hot water
  • 1/4 cup Raspberries
  • 1/4 cup Pear slices

Make it

  1. Add the tea or fruit and spices to a heatproof mug or small saucepan.
  2. Pour in the hot water. Steep tea for the time on its packet, or gently simmer fruit for 3–5 minutes.
  3. Remove tea bags. Strain if you prefer, add any optional sweetener, and sip while comfortably warm.

Benefits
