Pomegranate Rooibos Quiet

Pomegranate Orange Peel Rooibos. A simple recipe for your evening wind-down.

Pomegranate Rooibos Quiet

Pomegranate and orange peel give rooibos a deeper fruit-and-citrus character. The juice adds tartness, while the peel contributes fragrance instead of extra sweetness. Brew the tea and let a small piece of peel infuse briefly before deciding whether it needs longer. Too much white pith can turn the cup bitter. The result should feel rounded by the rooibos, with pomegranate’s slightly drying finish still noticeable after the orange aroma fades.

Ingredients

  • 6 oz Hot water
  • 1 tea bag Rooibos tea
  • 2 oz Pomegranate juice
  • 1 strip Orange peel

Make it

  1. Add the tea or fruit and spices to a heatproof mug or small saucepan.
  2. Pour in the hot water. Steep tea for the time on its packet, or gently simmer fruit for 3–5 minutes.
  3. Remove tea bags. Strain if you prefer, add any optional sweetener, and sip while comfortably warm.
