Pomegranate Mint Evening Pages
Pomegranate & Ginger Peppermint Tea. A different way to make the moment yours.

Pomegranate adds a tart, slightly dry fruit note to peppermint, while ginger supplies a little warmth beneath the cool mint aroma. The contrast is more interesting than simply sweetening the tea. Use a modest amount of juice so it doesn't cover the peppermint completely. Thin ginger slices are easy to remove once the flavor suits you. This is a fuller herbal cup with a bright finish, especially useful when plain peppermint feels too familiar but you still want something uncomplicated.
Ingredients
- 1 tea bag Peppermint tea
- 6 oz Water
- 2 oz Pomegranate juice
- 2 slice Fresh ginger, thinly sliced
Make it
- Prepare any fruit as listed, removing stones, cores and hard stems.
- Brew the tea in the measured water according to its packet, then remove the bag.
- Whisk any nut or seed butter into a spoonful of the hot tea first. Add it back with the fruit, juice, spices or other listed flavorings. Warm gently in a small pan for 3–4 minutes if needed to soften fruit; do not boil.
- Strain if preferred, removing whole peel, herb or ginger pieces. Serve at a comfortable drinking temperature.
