Pink Dragon Long Weekend

0.0% Gin, Dragon Fruit & Lime Tonic. A different way to make the moment yours.

Pink Dragon Long Weekend

Dragon fruit brings texture and, if you use the pink variety, a dramatic color. Its flavor is much quieter than its appearance, so lime and tonic provide most of the sharpness. Mash the flesh well before adding the carbonated ingredients. The tiny seeds remain, giving the drink a slightly playful texture. A botanical alternative adds aroma without needing a heavy syrup. This is an attractive, gently fruity tonic whose dry finish keeps it from feeling like a novelty soda.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz 0.0% non-alcoholic gin alternative
  • 4 oz Tonic water
  • 1/2 cup Dragon fruit flesh
  • 1/4 oz Lime juice

Make it

  1. Prepare the fruit and herbs as listed. Lightly press soft fruit and herbs in a glass without shredding the leaves.
  2. Add the non-alcoholic alternative and any still juices or flavorings. Stir together and strain if you prefer a smoother texture.
  3. Add ice if desired, then pour in the chilled carbonated mixer. Stir gently once and serve.
