Pineapple Up & About
Pineapple Ginger Smoothie. A simple recipe for the start of your day.

Pineapple gives this creamy blend a tangier edge than its pale color might suggest. Ginger adds a small peppery kick, with banana and oats cushioning both flavors. Start with a modest amount of ginger; it’s easier to add more than to rescue a glass that feels hot. Blend just before serving and taste before sweetening, since the pineapple and banana may already give you plenty.
Ingredients
- 6 oz Unsweetened oat milk
- 2 oz Pineapple juice
- 2 slice Fresh ginger
- 1 fruit Banana
- 1 tbsp Rolled oats (optional)
Make it
- Add the milk and all fruit to a blender.
- Add any spices or optional oats. Blend until smooth.
- Pour into a glass. Add a splash more milk if you prefer it thinner.
Benefits
Banana · keep the fiber
Banana supplies some fiber for keeping digestion moving regularly; pairing it with oat milk, apple juice, and ginger adds another layer to the flavor.
Let ginger change the texture
In the oat milk, apple juice, and banana blend, the measured ginger adds a peppery warmth without an ice-cream base.
Use peeled, chopped apple in place of apple juice for a thicker blend.
