Pear Ginger Breakfast Tea
Ginger Pear Iced Tea. A simple recipe for the start of your day.

Pear takes the edge off a gingery tea without turning it into a sweetened fruit drink. Fresh ginger reinforces the tea’s warmth, which becomes more noticeable the longer it sits. Thin pear slices release their flavor more easily than chunks. Brew first, then add the fruit and fresh ginger so you can decide when the warmth is right for you instead of letting everything steep indefinitely.
Ingredients
- 1 tea bag Ginger herbal tea
- 6 oz Hot water
- 1/4 cup Pear slices
- 2 slice Fresh ginger
Make it
- Steep the tea in hot water for the time on its packet, then remove the bag.
- Let the tea cool. Press or mash any soft fruit and stir in the remaining ingredients.
- Pour over ice. Strain if you prefer a smoother drink.
Benefits
Ginger tea · caffeine-free with pear and ginger
Choose pure ginger tea for this pear and ginger cup: its warming ginger aroma comes without the caffeine found in black tea.
Pear · a flavor worth noticing
Using pear beside ginger tea and ginger gives the glass a mellow orchard sweetness, creating its own flavor without needing carbonation or an alcoholic pour.
