Pear & a Pause
Pear Rosemary Spritz. A simple recipe for a moment that feels like yours.

Pear and rosemary give this fizz a quiet elegance without much effort. Pear is gentle, rosemary much more assertive, so a small sprig and ripe fruit are a better starting point than a heavy hand with the herb. Slice the pear thinly and press a little to release juice. The drink won’t be intensely sweet. Give it a brief rest and look for soft fruit with a piney scent around the edges.
Ingredients
- 5 oz Sparkling water
- 1/4 cup Pear slices
- 1 sprig Rosemary
Make it
- Add any fruit, herbs, spices, or syrup to a glass and gently press to release flavor.
- Add the still liquids and ice. Stir to combine.
- Pour in the sparkling ingredient slowly and stir once. Serve immediately.
Benefits
Pear and rosemary · refreshing fluids
The water does a simple, useful job in this pear and rosemary combination: it contributes to hydration while stretching a mellow orchard sweetness into a full drink.
A sparkling setting for rosemary
Pairing rosemary with pear puts a piney herbal note into a fizzy glass, with bubbles making the texture part of the pleasure.
