Peachy Start
Peach Ginger Iced Tea. A simple recipe for the start of your day.

Peach softens the briskness of black tea, and ginger supplies a warm edge behind it. It’s a more interesting breakfast cup than plain peach juice, with tea giving the finish a little dryness. Brew the black tea first so you can control its strength; leaving it too long can bury the peach. Serve warm or let it cool properly before pouring over ice.
Ingredients
- 1 tea bag Black tea
- 6 oz Hot water
- 1/4 cup Peach slices
- 2 slice Fresh ginger
Make it
- Steep the tea in hot water for the time on its packet, then remove the bag.
- Let the tea cool. Press or mash any soft fruit and stir in the remaining ingredients.
- Pour over ice. Strain if you prefer a smoother drink.
Benefits
Black tea and peach · refreshing fluids
Black tea, peach, and ginger makes room for more water in your day. The 6 oz base carries a gently drying tea finish without needing alcohol to give it character.
A different side of ginger
There is a peppery warmth from the measured ginger in the black tea and peach mixture, giving that ingredient a place without drowning out the other flavors.
