Peach Thyme Evening Porch
Warm Peach, Thyme & Vanilla Cup. A different way to make the moment yours.

Peach becomes soft and mellow when warmed, and thyme gives it a small savory note that vanilla rounds out. Use ripe fruit so you don't need a long simmer or extra sugar. Keep the herb mostly intact and remove it before serving. The drink can be strained for a clearer texture, or left lightly cloudy if you enjoy the fruit. This is a gentle evening cup with a warmer aroma than peach tea and a pleasantly restrained herbal finish.
Ingredients
- 6 oz Water
- 1/2 cup Peach, pitted and sliced
- 1 small sprig Fresh thyme
- 1/8 tsp Alcohol-free vanilla flavoring
Make it
- Prepare the fruit as listed, removing all stones, cores and hard stems.
- Put the water and all remaining ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 5–7 minutes until any fresh fruit has softened.
- Mash softened fruit gently, then strain if you prefer a smoother cup. Remove whole peel, herbs or ginger pieces. Serve comfortably warm.
Benefits
Peach and thyme · refreshing fluids
Using peach, thyme, and vanilla turns the measured water into a drink with a mellow stone-fruit sweetness. That water still counts toward your fluid intake.
