Peach Raspberry Sunroom

Peach Raspberry Refresher. A simple recipe for the start of your day.

Peach Raspberry Sunroom

Peach and raspberry make a lovely contrast in plain water: mellow stone fruit beside brighter berry tartness. The raspberry will probably show up first, so use ripe peach and press a little of it to help the flavor along. This isn’t a juice blend; its charm is a lighter fruit taste. A few minutes of infusion lets the peach catch up without needing to add more ingredients.

Ingredients

  • 6 oz Cold water
  • 1/4 cup Peach slices
  • 1/4 cup Raspberries

Make it

  1. Add the fruit and herbs to a glass. Gently press soft fruit or herbs to release their flavor.
  2. Stir in the juice, any optional salt or sweetener, and the water. If using sparkling water, add it last and stir once.
  3. Add ice if you like. Let infused water stand for 5 minutes for a fuller flavor.

Benefits

Peach and raspberry · refreshing fluids

Using peach and raspberry turns the measured water into a drink with a mellow stone-fruit sweetness. That water still counts toward your fluid intake.

A different side of raspberry

There is a bright raspberry tang from the measured raspberry in the peach mixture, giving that ingredient a place without drowning out the other flavors.
