Peach Mint First Light
Peach Mint Fizz. A simple recipe for the start of your day.

Peach makes a soft, fragrant base for mint, with sparkling water adding a little liveliness. You need a ripe peach for the fruit to come through; a firm, underripe one mostly contributes slices to look at. Press a few pieces and gently bruise the mint before adding bubbles. The finished glass should feel light and peachy, with the mint freshening the aroma instead of overpowering it.
Ingredients
- 6 oz Sparkling water
- 1/4 cup Peach slices
- 5 leaf Mint leaves
Make it
- Add the fruit and herbs to a glass. Gently press soft fruit or herbs to release their flavor.
- Stir in the juice, any optional salt or sweetener, and the water. If using sparkling water, add it last and stir once.
- Add ice if you like. Let infused water stand for 5 minutes for a fuller flavor.
Benefits
Peach and mint · refreshing fluids
The 6 oz of sparkling water contributes to your day’s fluids, with peach and mint providing the flavor that makes another glass appealing.
Peach with a little lift
The peach brings a mellow stone-fruit sweetness, alongside mint; the chilled carbonated mixer adds a crisp texture to that pairing.
