Papaya Chili Patio Hour

Papaya, Lime & Chili Cooler. A different way to make the moment yours.

Papaya Chili Patio Hour

Papaya makes a soft, almost creamy fruit base even without milk, and lime gives it the contrast it needs. A little chili introduces warmth at the end rather than an immediate hot bite. Ripe fruit is essential for both flavor and texture. Mash it thoroughly, then strain if you want the drink to feel lighter. The result is a tropical cooler with a less familiar character than pineapple or mango, rounded at first and a little sharper as you sip.

Ingredients

  • 5 oz Sparkling water
  • 1/2 cup Ripe papaya, peeled and deseeded
  • 1/4 oz Lime juice
  • 1 tiny pinch Chili powder

Make it

  1. Prepare the fruit and herbs as listed. Mash soft fruit to release juice; lightly press herbs or thin ginger slices without shredding them.
  2. Add the still juices and stir. Strain out seeds, skins or herb pieces if you prefer a smoother texture.
  3. Pour in the chilled sparkling water slowly and stir once. Serve immediately, with ice if you like.

Benefits

Papaya ยท a little vitamin C

You get a small vitamin C contribution from papaya in the lime and peppery spice mixture, supporting normal immune function alongside a soft tropical sweetness.

A sparkling setting for peppery spice

Pairing peppery spice with papaya and lime puts a small peppery kick into a fizzy glass, with bubbles making the texture part of the pleasure.
