Nectarine Raspberry First Light

A blended drink with nectarine, raspberry, banana.

Nectarine Raspberry First Light

Nectarine gives this smoothie a soft stone-fruit base, and raspberry adds a tart streak that keeps each sip interesting. The skins and seeds make it slightly rustic rather than perfectly silky. A ripe banana helps everything come together without additional sugar. If the nectarines are firm, slice them thinly before blending or use thawed frozen pieces. This is a fruity breakfast glass with a fresh, tangy finish, especially good when you want a change from strawberry.

Ingredients

  • 6 oz Unsweetened oat milk
  • 1/2 fruit Ripe nectarine, pitted and sliced
  • 1/4 cup Raspberries
  • 1/2 fruit Ripe banana

Make it

  1. Prepare all fruit as listed. Use cooked, cooled ingredients where specified; remove every stone, core or hard stem.
  2. Add the milk and all remaining ingredients to a blender. Blend for 45–60 seconds, scraping down as needed, until smooth.
  3. Add a small splash of milk if needed to make it pourable. Serve immediately.

Benefits

Raspberry · keep the fiber

With raspberry beside oat milk, nectarine, and banana, this glass offers a little fiber for keeping digestion moving regularly.

Let banana change the texture

In the oat milk, nectarine, and raspberry blend, the measured banana adds a smooth texture and mellow sweetness without an ice-cream base.
