Nectarine Apricot Evening Terrace

Warm Nectarine, Apricot & Thyme Cup. A different way to make the moment yours.

Nectarine Apricot Evening Terrace

Nectarine and apricot make a mellow stone-fruit combination, while thyme gives the aroma a small savory edge. Ripe nectarine slices soften quickly and contribute more flavor than firm fruit. Keep the herb sprig small and remove it before serving. The apricot nectar provides enough sweetness that the drink rarely needs anything extra. This is a gentle evening fruit cup with a rounded finish, useful when you want something warmer and softer than an iced peach drink.

Ingredients

  • 6 oz Water
  • 1/2 fruit Ripe nectarine, pitted and sliced
  • 2 oz Apricot nectar
  • 1 small sprig Fresh thyme

Make it

  1. Prepare the fruit as listed, removing all stones, cores and hard stems.
  2. Put the water and all remaining ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 5–7 minutes until any fresh fruit has softened.
  3. Mash softened fruit gently, then strain if you prefer a smoother cup. Remove whole peel, herbs or ginger pieces. Serve comfortably warm.

Benefits

Nectarine and apricot · refreshing fluids

Using nectarine, apricot, and thyme turns the measured water into a drink with a mellow stone-fruit sweetness. That water still counts toward your fluid intake.

The apricot detail
