Mint Tea Passion Fruit Morning
A chilled drink with passion, white grape.

Passion fruit's sharp tropical aroma makes peppermint tea feel much fruitier, while white grape juice softens the acidity. Strain the passion fruit if you dislike its crunchy seeds. The peppermint works best at normal tea strength, where it adds a cool finish without competing with the fruit. Chill everything before combining so you don't need much ice. This is a caffeine-free iced tea with a fairly bold aroma and a gentler sweetness than a typical bottled tropical drink.
Ingredients
- 1 tea bag Peppermint tea
- 6 oz Water
- 1/2 oz Passion fruit pulp
- 2 oz White grape juice
Make it
- Brew the tea in the measured water, using the temperature and steeping time on its packet. Remove the tea bag.
- Cool the tea in a heatproof container, then chill for about 30 minutes.
- Mash any soft fruit in a separate glass. Lightly bruise herbs or ginger; add these and the listed juices or spices to the cooled tea.
- Stir well and taste. Remove ginger or herb sprigs when their flavor suits you. Strain if you prefer a smoother drink, then serve chilled.
