Maple Nightfall
Maple Almond Steamer. A simple recipe for your evening wind-down.

Maple and almond milk make a simple warm cup with a lightly nutty base and a deeper, rounded sweetness. The milk is less rich than coconut milk, so the maple stands out clearly. Warm gently and stir the syrup all the way through before tasting. Start with a measured pour, especially if your almond milk is already sweetened. The pleasant version feels soft and balanced rather than like a spoonful of syrup diluted into a mug.
Ingredients
- 8 oz Unsweetened almond milk
- 1/2 tsp Maple syrup (optional)
Make it
- Warm the milk gently in a small saucepan; do not boil.
- Add the spices, flavoring, and any fruit. Whisk powders well. If using tea, steep for the packet’s recommended time and remove the bag.
- Simmer gently for 2 minutes. Strain whole spices or fruit if you like, then pour into a mug.
