Maple Evening Pages
Maple Cinnamon Oat Latte. A simple recipe for your evening wind-down.

Maple gives oat milk a deeper sweetness than plain sugar would, with cinnamon adding a warm edge. The combination is familiar without needing much preparation. Warm the milk slowly and stir in the maple thoroughly before tasting. A little cinnamon is enough, especially because it can collect at the bottom. This is a rounded, softly sweet cup for an evening when a simple warm drink is more appealing than another snack-sized project.
Ingredients
- 8 oz Unsweetened oat milk
- 1/2 tsp Maple syrup (optional)
- 1/8 tsp Ground cinnamon
Make it
- Warm the milk gently in a small saucepan; do not boil.
- Add the spices, flavoring, and any fruit. Whisk powders well. If using tea, steep for the packet’s recommended time and remove the bag.
- Simmer gently for 2 minutes. Strain whole spices or fruit if you like, then pour into a mug.
