Lychee Oolong Late Conversation

Lychee & Ginger Oolong Cooler. A different way to make the moment yours.

Lychee Oolong Late Conversation

Lychee gives oolong a floral fruit sweetness, while ginger brings a small amount of warmth to the finish. The tea's toasted character helps balance the softer fruit note. Use plain lychee juice and a normal-strength brew so neither sweetness nor tannin overwhelms the glass. Remove the ginger when the flavor suits you. This is an aromatic cooler with a rounded first sip and a gently dry finish, especially good for someone who enjoys tea-based drinks. It contains caffeine.

Ingredients

  • 1 tea bag Oolong tea
  • 6 oz Water
  • 2 oz Lychee juice
  • 2 slice Fresh ginger, thinly sliced

Make it

  1. Brew the tea in the measured water, using the temperature and steeping time on its packet. Remove the tea bag.
  2. Cool the tea in a heatproof container, then chill for about 30 minutes.
  3. Mash any soft fruit in a separate glass. Lightly bruise herbs or ginger; add these and the listed juices or spices to the cooled tea.
  4. Stir well and taste. Remove ginger or herb sprigs when their flavor suits you. Strain if you prefer a smoother drink, then serve chilled.
