Lychee Ginger End of Day
Warm Lychee, Ginger & Orange-Peel Cup. A different way to make the moment yours.

Lychee gives this cup a floral fruit sweetness, ginger adds warmth, and orange peel brings a brighter aroma without extra citrus acidity. Use plain lychee juice rather than heavy fruit syrup. Remove both the ginger and peel once the flavor suits you so neither becomes too strong. This is a light, fragrant evening drink with a gently spicy finish. It offers something different from the usual apple-and-cinnamon cup while remaining simple enough to make without a blender or homemade syrup.
Ingredients
- 6 oz Water
- 2 oz Lychee juice
- 2 slice Fresh ginger, thinly sliced
- 1 strip Washed orange peel, with little white pith
Make it
- Prepare the fruit as listed, removing all stones, cores and hard stems.
- Put the water and all remaining ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook for 5–7 minutes until any fresh fruit has softened.
- Mash softened fruit gently, then strain if you prefer a smoother cup. Remove whole peel, herbs or ginger pieces. Serve comfortably warm.
