Lemon Lampshade
Chamomile Lemon Cup. A simple recipe for your evening wind-down.

Lemon gives chamomile a brighter edge while leaving its gentle floral flavor in place. This is a light, unsweetened tea rather than a warm lemonade. Brew the chamomile before adding citrus so you can judge whether it needs the full amount. Too much lemon can make the tea difficult to notice. A small squeeze is often enough to change the cup from soft and floral to something fresher and a little more defined.
Ingredients
- 6 oz Hot water
- 1 tea bag Chamomile tea
- 1/2 oz Lemon juice
Make it
- Add the tea or fruit and spices to a heatproof mug or small saucepan.
- Pour in the hot water. Steep tea for the time on its packet, or gently simmer fruit for 3–5 minutes.
- Remove tea bags. Strain if you prefer, add any optional sweetener, and sip while comfortably warm.
Benefits
Chamomile · caffeine-free with lemon
Choose pure chamomile for this lemon cup: its gentle floral aroma comes without the caffeine found in black tea.
A warmer side of lemon
The chamomile carries a clean citrus sharpness from lemon, giving you a fragrant warm drink to enjoy in place of an alcoholic nightcap.
