Honeydew Celery Evening Green
Honeydew, Celery & Lime Fizz. A different way to make the moment yours.

Celery gives mild honeydew a grassy, savory note, while lime adds the sharpness that melon drinks sometimes need. The celery portion is deliberately small so it doesn't turn the glass into vegetable juice. Mash ripe melon thoroughly and strain if you prefer a smoother texture. You should still taste melon first, followed by a green, lightly tart finish. This is an unusual but approachable option for someone who enjoys cucumber drinks and wants to try a different savory-fruit pairing.
Ingredients
- 5 oz Sparkling water
- 1/2 cup Ripe honeydew cubes
- 1 1/2 oz Celery juice
- 1/4 oz Lime juice
Make it
- Prepare the fruit and herbs as listed. Mash soft fruit to release juice; lightly press herbs or thin ginger slices without shredding them.
- Add the still juices and stir. Strain out seeds, skins or herb pieces if you prefer a smoother texture.
- Pour in the chilled sparkling water slowly and stir once. Serve immediately, with ice if you like.
