Hibiscus Cherry Social

Hibiscus Cherry Orange Spritz. A simple recipe for a moment that feels like yours.

Hibiscus Cherry Social

Hibiscus and cherry make a deep, tart fruit-tea base, while orange softens the sharper notes. Sparkling water turns it into a spritz rather than a warm fruit cup. Brew and cool the hibiscus first so the finished drink stays cold without immediately watering down over ice. There’s plenty of flavor already. Taste the cherry and orange balance before increasing either, especially if your tea has brewed quite strongly.

Ingredients

  • 1 tea bag Hibiscus tea
  • 4 oz Hot water
  • 2 oz Sparkling water
  • 2 oz Tart cherry juice
  • 2 oz Orange juice

Make it

  1. Add any fruit, herbs, spices, or syrup to a glass and gently press to release flavor.
  2. Brew the tea according to its packet, remove the bag, and let it cool.
  3. Add the still liquids and ice. Stir to combine.
  4. Pour in the sparkling ingredient slowly and stir once. Serve immediately.

Benefits

Orange · a little vitamin C

Using orange with hibiscus and cherry brings vitamin C for absorbing iron from plant foods, along with a familiar sweet-tart citrus flavor.

Cherry · more than a sweet mixer

With hibiscus and orange in the glass, the measured cherry contributes a deep, tangy cherry flavor as an accent to the fizz.
