Guava Rosemary Last Call

Guava Rosemary Lemon Fizz. A simple recipe for a moment that feels like yours.

Guava Rosemary Last Call

Guava gives rosemary a soft tropical setting, with lemon providing a brighter edge. The juice may be sweet and fairly full-bodied, so sparkling water has a useful role beyond bubbles. Stir the guava and lemon together and briefly infuse a small rosemary sprig before topping up. The drink works best when the fruit stays fragrant and the herb adds a little contrast, rather than turning the whole glass into something woody.

Ingredients

  • 5 oz Sparkling water
  • 2 oz Guava juice
  • 1 sprig Rosemary
  • 1/2 oz Lemon juice

Make it

  1. Add any fruit, herbs, spices, or syrup to a glass and gently press to release flavor.
  2. Add the still liquids and ice. Stir to combine.
  3. Pour in the sparkling ingredient slowly and stir once. Serve immediately.

Benefits

Lemon · a little vitamin C

The 1/2 oz of lemon juice adds some vitamin C for absorbing iron from plant foods, with guava and rosemary rounding out the flavor.

Guava · more than a sweet mixer

With rosemary and lemon in the glass, the measured guava contributes a fragrant tropical sweetness as an accent to the fizz.
