Guava Hibiscus Spice Table
Guava & Cardamom Hibiscus Cooler. A different way to make the moment yours.

Guava softens hibiscus tea's tartness, while a small pinch of cardamom adds an unexpected aromatic note. The fruit should remain clear and recognizable, so measure the spice carefully. A thick guava nectar may need a little extra water to keep the drink easy to sip. The hibiscus gives a vivid color and a sharper finish than guava juice alone. This is a fragrant, caffeine-free dinner cooler with a tropical character that doesn't depend on pineapple or coconut.
Ingredients
- 1 tea bag Hibiscus tea
- 6 oz Water
- 2 oz Guava juice
- 1 tiny pinch Ground cardamom
Make it
- Brew the tea in the measured water, using the temperature and steeping time on its packet. Remove the tea bag.
- Cool the tea in a heatproof container, then chill for about 30 minutes.
- Mash any soft fruit in a separate glass. Lightly bruise herbs or ginger; add these and the listed juices or spices to the cooled tea.
- Stir well and taste. Remove ginger or herb sprigs when their flavor suits you. Strain if you prefer a smoother drink, then serve chilled.
