Guava Ginger Goodnight

Warm Guava Ginger Cup. A simple recipe for your evening wind-down.

Guava Ginger Goodnight

Guava gives this warm cup a fragrant tropical sweetness, while ginger adds a small peppery edge. The juice can have more body than you expect, so stir it thoroughly into the hot water. Begin with a little ginger and let it infuse briefly before adding more. You want guava to remain recognizable between those warming sips. It’s a different evening direction from apple or pear, without needing tea, milk, or a complicated spice mixture.

Ingredients

  • 6 oz Hot water
  • 2 oz Guava juice
  • 2 slice Fresh ginger

Make it

  1. Add the tea or fruit and spices to a heatproof mug or small saucepan.
  2. Pour in the hot water. Steep tea for the time on its packet, or gently simmer fruit for 3–5 minutes.
  3. Remove tea bags. Strain if you prefer, add any optional sweetener, and sip while comfortably warm.
