Grape Sage Rooibos Evening

White Grape & Sage Rooibos. A different way to make the moment yours.

Grape Sage Rooibos Evening

White grape juice adds a mild sweetness to rooibos, while sage introduces a woodsy, savory aroma. Use only a small leaf and remove it once its flavor becomes clear. The grape makes the tea softer without needing honey or sugar. This is a quiet, slightly herbal cup that feels different from the usual vanilla or citrus rooibos combinations. Keep the tea at normal strength so the herb and fruit remain noticeable rather than disappearing beneath a very strong brew.

Ingredients

  • 1 tea bag Rooibos tea
  • 6 oz Water
  • 2 oz White grape juice
  • 1 leaf Sage leaf

Make it

  1. Prepare any fruit as listed, removing stones, cores and hard stems.
  2. Brew the tea in the measured water according to its packet, then remove the bag.
  3. Whisk any nut or seed butter into a spoonful of the hot tea first. Add it back with the fruit, juice, spices or other listed flavorings. Warm gently in a small pan for 3–4 minutes if needed to soften fruit; do not boil.
  4. Strain if preferred, removing whole peel, herb or ginger pieces. Serve at a comfortable drinking temperature.

Benefits

Rooibos · caffeine-free with grape and sage

Choose pure rooibos for this grape and sage cup: its mellow, woody brewed flavor comes without the caffeine found in black tea.

A warmer side of sage

The rooibos and grape carries an earthy herbal edge from sage, giving you a fragrant warm drink to enjoy in place of an alcoholic nightcap.
