Fig Vanilla First Sip
Fig Vanilla Smoothie. A simple recipe for the start of your day.

Fig and vanilla make this a mellow breakfast blend, with banana adding creaminess and oats giving it a soft, substantial texture. The fig’s tiny seeds may remain noticeable even after a good blend; that’s different from gritty oats, which need more time. Keep the vanilla subtle so the fig’s almost jammy sweetness has some room. This is a quiet fruit combination that doesn’t need extra flavor piled onto it.
Ingredients
- 6 oz Unsweetened oat milk
- 1 fruit Fig
- 1 fruit Banana
- 1/8 tsp Alcohol-free vanilla flavoring
- 1 tbsp Rolled oats (optional)
Make it
- Add the milk and all fruit to a blender.
- Add any spices or optional oats. Blend until smooth.
- Pour into a glass. Add a splash more milk if you prefer it thinner.
Benefits
Banana · a potassium contribution
Banana contributes a little potassium for normal muscle and nerve function; oat milk brings a mellow, creamy base in this recipe. In this version, 6 oz oat milk, 1 fruit fig, and 1/8 tsp vanilla completes the pairing.
Fig · texture as well as taste
Blending fig with oat milk, banana, and vanilla gives you a rounded, honeyed fruit flavor throughout the drink, with the whole blended ingredients staying in the glass.
