Cranberry Fireside
Warm Cranberry Orange Cup. A simple recipe for your evening wind-down.

Cranberry and orange make a bright warm fruit drink, with water keeping it lighter than a heated juice blend. The cranberry is tart and a little drying; orange gives a softer citrus sweetness beside it. Stir the juices together before adding the hot water. Your cranberry choice matters, since pure juice can be much sharper than a sweetened blend. Taste at a comfortable temperature before deciding whether the balance needs another splash of orange.
Ingredients
- 6 oz Hot water
- 2 oz Cranberry juice
- 2 oz Orange juice
Make it
- Add the tea or fruit and spices to a heatproof mug or small saucepan.
- Pour in the hot water. Steep tea for the time on its packet, or gently simmer fruit for 3–5 minutes.
- Remove tea bags. Strain if you prefer, add any optional sweetener, and sip while comfortably warm.
Benefits
Cranberry and orange · refreshing fluids
Using cranberry and orange turns the measured water into a drink with a sharp berry edge. That water still counts toward your fluid intake.
A warmer side of orange
The cranberry carries a familiar sweet-tart citrus flavor from orange, giving you a fragrant warm drink to enjoy in place of an alcoholic nightcap.
