Coconut Soft Close

Coconut Cinnamon Steamer. A simple recipe for your evening wind-down.

Coconut Soft Close

Coconut milk gives this cup a fuller, richer texture than the oat-milk versions, while cinnamon adds a warm spice scent. With only two ingredients, the coconut flavor stays unmistakable. Heat slowly and stir rather than boiling it hard. Cinnamon can settle or cling to the surface, so mix it well before drinking. It’s a small, creamy evening pour that doesn’t need a long list of extras to feel like something you made for yourself.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz Unsweetened coconut milk
  • 1/8 tsp Ground cinnamon

Make it

  1. Warm the milk gently in a small saucepan; do not boil.
  2. Add the spices, flavoring, and any fruit. Whisk powders well. If using tea, steep for the packet’s recommended time and remove the bag.
  3. Simmer gently for 2 minutes. Strain whole spices or fruit if you like, then pour into a mug.

Benefits

Coconut milk and cinnamon · keep the flavor ritual

The coconut milk and cinnamon combination gives you a creamy coconut flavor in a mixed drink built around its own flavors, keeping the familiar act of mixing and pouring while changing what goes into the glass.

Cinnamon beside coconut milk

Using 1/8 tsp of cinnamon adds a sweet-smelling spice note to the warm coconut milk, bringing aroma as well as taste to this combination.
