Coconut Kiwi Morning
Coconut Kiwi Cooler. A simple recipe for the start of your day.

Coconut water gives this a mild sweetness, and kiwi adds little bursts of green tartness. The extra cold water keeps it lighter than a juice blend. Mash some of the kiwi so its flavor spreads rather than staying in the fruit pieces. You’ll see seeds, and perhaps a little pulp, which suits this uncomplicated drink. Taste the coconut water first if you’re unsure how sweet the finished glass will be.
Ingredients
- 6 oz Cold water
- 2 oz Coconut water
- 1/2 fruit Kiwi
Make it
- Add the fruit and herbs to a glass. Gently press soft fruit or herbs to release their flavor.
- Stir in the juice, any optional salt or sweetener, and the water. If using sparkling water, add it last and stir once.
- Add ice if you like. Let infused water stand for 5 minutes for a fuller flavor.
Benefits
Coconut water · a potassium contribution
Beside kiwi, coconut water offers a little potassium, used by your body for maintaining normal fluid balance, as well as a light coconut sweetness.
A different side of kiwi
There is a bright, tart fruit flavor from the measured kiwi in the coconut water mixture, giving that ingredient a place without drowning out the other flavors.
